This course is designed to provide minimum basic life saving skills until more qualified help arrives. On successful completion of the course a certificate will be issued which is valid for 1 year.

• Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981
• Incident Management and reporting procedures
• Safe, prompt and effective treatment in an emergency
• Casualty management and treatment of unconsciousness
• CPR
• Airway management and choking
• Effective treatment of wounds and bleeding
• Recognition and treatment of shock

EXAM FEES: Continually assessed throughout, no examination
