This course is designed to train staff to deal safely and effectively with injuries
or illness for new born children to the age of 8.

COURSE CONTENT:

• Incident Management
• Casualty Management
• Unconscious Casualty and Recovery position
• Respiratory arrest, asphyxia and cardiac arrest
• Babies/ Children – technique modification
• Dealing effectively with obstructed airway - choking
• Heart attack
• Recognition of shock and treatment
• Severe Bleeding
• Epileptic Seizure
• Asthma

DURATION: 5 hours

VENUE: Cardiff or Cwmbran
