This course is designed to meet the H.S.E. recommended requirements as the minimum level of First Aid Training in the Workplace. This Person is required to act safe, prompt and effectively with basic life saving skills  until more qualified
help arrives.  On successful completion of the course a certificate will be issued which is valid for 3 years.

• Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981
• Preventing cross infection and available equipment
• Incident Management and reporting procedures
• Safe, prompt and effective treatment in an emergency
• Casualty management and treatment of unconsciousness
• CPR
• Airway management and choking
• Effective treatment of wounds and bleeding
• Recognition and treatment of shock
• Seizures
• Common minor workplace injuries
• Multi choice question paper

DURATION: 1 Day

VENUE: Cardiff or Cwmbran

COURSE FEES: Group Fee up to 12  £295.00 OR £70.00 pp

EXAM FEES: Continually assessed throughout, no examination
